  • Why do I need to update this?

Every nintendo app requires updates in order to keep using. If you’re not up to date, it forces you to the app store. Ok? I don’t care enough to use the Nintendo Store app frequently.
  • Great Alternative to eShop

I often find myself picking up my Switch or Switch 2 just to see what the eShop has on sale. This app makes finding the deals through my phone more convenient. However, one change I’d make to it is that games I purchased that were once on my wishlist still appear on my wishlist, which leaves me disappointed when I see there’s games on sale on my wishlist, only to find a majority of them were games I already purchased. If this could be fixed, that’d be great.
  • Notifications are Broken

The app itself is serviceable, and makes it easy to view your wishlist and purchase games. However, notifications do not work, at least not for games on your wishlist that go on sale. I just got in the habit of checking the app every so often because I have never once received a notification of a sale despite having them turned on in the app and in iOS system settings.
  • Too many slop offerings

Nintendo needs to bring back their seal of approval. Everyone and anyone is serving grade A slop on the eshop, and it makes it difficult to find games worth buying.
  • Publisher search no longer works

When you look at a product page for a game, the link to search for the game publisher’s other games no longer functions. When single tapped it brings you to the general search page. If you tap and hold, wait for the pop up link, it will behave with the correct search result.
  • Fantastic App BUT

As usual, too many notifications and I’m getting notifications for things I’ve never added to my wishlist. I might have looked at a game I get a notification about it being released or going on sale, but I’ve stopped checking notifications altogether because I see “An item on Your Wish List is out now” or “An item on Your Wish List is on sale”.
  • Too many indie games

Garbage games on top of the good games and indie games. Mostly unfinished money grab games. They really do not test their games. Over priced games as well. Games people do look at is overpriced. Nothing but greed. These developers and companies ruin everything with their greed. I really don’t like gaming anymore.

  • In Need Of A Major Overhaul

Most switch users want a direct access to the gaming library. To see what’s on sale, buy/etc when not on the switch itself. Why in the world are we redirected to an in-app browser? I don’t need to see shirts, and all that other nonsense. Split merch and other things that aren’t games into their own app. Nintendo please this needs to be switch games front and center. What’s the point of this app? If I’m constantly going to an in-app browser? It’s not impossible to have digital stores within apps, so do work on that.
