Description

Welcome! You are a short helicopter ride away from becoming one of the most celebrated and admired city mayors of all time. This is Cityscapes: Sim Builder! A brand new, sustainable take on classic city building games, and brought to you by veteran sim builders. ::::: A RICH CITY BUILDING EXPERIENCE - Cityscapes will get you thinking. As Mayor you need to make meaningful decisions and build carefully thought out systems, so as to protect the health and happiness of your citizens. - Citizens have basic needs of course - they need housing, jobs and shops, and a means to travel between them. - Distance matters - industry and road traffic create pollution. It is important to think sustainably when building transportation networks. - Citizens need utilities - power, clean water and garbage collection. - And as their Mayor, you’ll quickly need to start strategizing about policing, education, fire safety and medical care. As your citizens develop more complex needs you’ll have to plan how to provide tranquil green spaces for them to unwind in. - Have you got what it takes to make the right choices to develop a thriving metropolis? ::::: CITY PASS - The City Pass is a monthly event that enables you to earn exclusive parks, buildings, landmarks and other special items. You progress in the pass by completing daily and weekly tasks. ::::: UNLOCKS - Raise your player level and unlock more cities to build in a variety of rich biomes. - Get to unlock land parcels and discover natural curiosities hidden in the landscape. You can even build famous architectural landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty, giving your city indomitable style and instant attractiveness. ::::: IMAGINATION - Stunning 3D architecture and vistas will captivate your imagination as you watch your city grow. Collect diverse building blueprints approved for your unique city and be awed by the endless design possibilities. ::::: MEET - Meet Anne Council who runs the city challenges but beware of May Grede CEO whose middle name is ‘Sabotage’. Friendly advisors such as Paula Powers and Frankie Flint are always there to help. - And check in on your citizens who will keep you in the know with what life is like in your city. They will come to you with problems and make suggestions as to how to solve them. Be sure to listen to them, every citizen wants to feel heard. ::::: SUSTAINABILITY - Choice matters when building a city of the future, one that is profitable, thriving and fully sustainable. Strategize about both environmental and social sustainability; reduce waste and pollution whilst also managing business impacts, both positive and negative on your citizens. Design cities in which your citizens want to live, happy and healthy side by side and feel as proud and fulfilled as they are!

2 stars, I’ve been playing for a few weeks. Mostly multiplayer which I do rank. But I will say, this game has serious and very frustrating issues starting around lvl 55. The building simply do not communicate. I’ve contacted support, typical answer that doesn’t work. I’ve grown to hate this game for just how stupid the mechanics are. The game is only fun for a short bit. Then it turns into you working with a very bad employee All in all. The game needs some work. I do not write reviews. But I’m so frustrated with this game I’m sitting here writing a stupid review. It’s more responsive than a civ 7 but damn it’s frustrating. Simply because the information in the game about what’s needed is not correct

I’m loving the game but it’s missing trains. When will more options for public transportation be added to the game? It’s a huge part of a quality city planning game for me! Buses don’t feel super sustainable to me personally.

  • Fun… but the crashing gets old

Change all of the graphics to the absolute lowest settings and the crashing will stop. Can’t enjoy the little things, but can at least enjoy a good game on mobile. One of the games that attracted me to Apple Arcade. Smooth gameplay for the first few worlds. Then the constant crashing begins….. And it is absolutely terrible. I have redownloaded this game about 5 times over the last 7 months, for absolutely no reason. Nothing has updated or changed to make a difference. Not like I have an old IPhone either 🤷‍♀️ it’s an absolute shame that the crashing is so consistent, otherwise it would be an amazing experience.

This game is a complete waste of time. There is a reason it only has 11,000 reviews. You work hard on a city than it tanks. No reason. No explanation. The grid is to small. Seriously don’t bother.

Decent game that asks to share data constantly. It crashes any time I place a special building. Other reviews says it’s buggy and it is.
  • Desperately seeking UI improvements

The zoom levels, basic movements of the camera, zoom levels, placement and adjustment, and zoom levels all need improvement. Some more than others, like zoom levels.
  • Fun but

Really difficult menu system resetting the map to a blank seems to be impossible you will have to deconstruct each building one by one and the roads for a clear map there is no easy clear map option.
  • Pay to play Scam

Game works well but they shove in-app purchases down your throat. Gameplay comes to a grinding halt the moment you run out of money. Earn money by upgrading buildings and such but then you don’t have enough power for the new big buildings so you’ve got to upgrade power but there isn’t enough money for that either so you are either forced to play for 30 seconds at a time every 5-10 minutes (annoying way to play a game) or cough up real money to acquire one of the many different currencies they offer Keys, cash or simoleons. You’re guaranteed to be out of the one you need. Honestly disappointing for an Apple Arcade game and Apple should seriously consider removing it. Scam scam scam
