  • Cancelled, still charged

Beware they make it impossible to cancel. I cancelled, then was auto renewed despite cancelling. Then supposedly my account could not be found but I’ll be getting auto charged $65 a year forever because you can’t manage to cancel my account. So, strongly advise to never ever subscribe to Wired for anything period.

This is insane, every couple of days I have to log back in, what on the Earth is your token refresh policy? I’ve never seen that before.
  • Where’s the news???

It makes so little sense that you don’t have the same articles that are available in your newsletters and the website, especially for a tech magazine.
  • Paywall is obnoxious and has been for years

Every time I try to read an article or use the app I get stopped by the pay wall which sometimes doesn’t even recognize my login. It used to forget my password requiring a reset, doesn’t like working in foreign countries either
  • Garbage App

I cancelled my subscription because of this app format. How is it that the FTimes and Economist can figure this out but Wired and Conde Nast cannot? Jesus! Hire new tech devs and UX teams.
  • Needs more than just the magazines

This app’s functionality is extremely limited. You’d expect to be able to view and read stories as presented on the website, but you cannot. You can only view and download digitized versions of the print magazines. Other publications which use the same app framework for their mobile experience do this. I expect better from a tech publication, especially one i pay for.
  • Bad photocopy

Yes, oh, that was done. Was that they photo copied every page. A huge waste of opportunity.
  • Weaker every year

Wired used to be monthly and leading the technology revolution. Now, this app is verges on being pathetic after repeated downgrades and feature removals. It’s little more than a PDF viewer with terrible session management that constantly logs you out only after a few days. The lack of font sizing means you are reduced to pinch to zoom for everything. This may be partially due to the variable layout, but could be made adjustable or more flexible if it wasn’t wedded to the print version. The articles are still worth reading, but the app has become a source of frustration.
  • Needs improvement

As a reader, when I open the app - I should see a bookshelf with the magazine issue I am currently reading and open up to current bookmark. The app doesn’t save progress currently and that needs to be fixed. Favorites section has bugs where it saves two pages instead of one when starred. When I access a bookmark the magazine issue should load and I should be able to continue reading the entire issue from the bookmark. Currently only the two pages are saved with no access to the whole issue.
  • A political mag

Why does this magazine post so many political editorial pieces. Not the tech mag it used to be. You have alienated me and hence I won’t return. Good luck
