  • VPN Useability?

Why do I only get a blank page when I’m using my VPN? I’d like to be able to use this app while I’m in China.
  • Incredible Battery Drain - Do Not Install!

So, I “inherited a Garmin devoted from a relative. I thought I could try it out. I installed the Connect app. After a day, I realized that the battery on my iPhone 15 Pro Max was depleting much more rapidly than expected. I would usually get to the end of a day with 35-40% battery. Now, I am seeing 2-3% remaining by noon. Turned out to be the app. Uninstall!!
  • Update does not work

After the latest update, my phone has not been connecting and I have not been able to receive text message notifications on my phone. I have to constantly reconnected through the app. I hope they can fix this bug.
  • Ok but lost ability to auto sync

App works pretty well once it’s been manually updated but no longer “connects” to sync watch automatically. Presumably broke included functionality to push everyone onto the subscription app.
  • Update made my watch useless

My garmin instinct can no longer tell the time. It still receives notifications, but the app won’t recognize the connection to make the time work.
  • Draining phone battery

This app is draining my phone’s battery since the last upgrade. It keeps running in the background even after I turned it off in all settings! Really frustrating because otherwise I love my Garmin

So much data is effectively store here and it’s very accurate. It’s been insanely helpful with training. The only thing is that it feels clunky. I also wish the menstrual tracking was cleaner and more transparent (ie temperature graph for each cycle).
  • Terrible user interface

Garmin features are cool, but they serve no function if users cannot easily find them. Can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to google “how do I do X / find X in Garmin Connect”. It gets old real fast. Garmin should invest in a serious upgrade on its UX design (both in this app and on the actual devices which are similarly difficult to use). Also as a side note, do NOT use the “Round Trip Course” feature where the Garmin watch suggests a running loop — the routing is terrible (why in hell would I want to run along a busy highway when I have a perfectly good parallel residential street? Why is the direction giving interface so bad?) and it will quit when you are halfway out or the minute you get off route with no way to reactivate, leaving you stranded somewhere you might not be familiar with.
  • Disappointed

Would love to give a five star rating however since the new software update my Fenix 6x solar will not stay connected to my iPhone. This is simply an expensive and pretty much pointless watch right now
