Go to rent a bike. “Want to use a day pass?” No. “Okay re enter password to switch pass type” Unlock bike. Try to unlock second bike for partner, it says you can’t unlock two bike types at once ?????? Put my bike back. Try to get it out again. Mechanism is now stuck. 15 bikes in station but 11 out of service. I take metro instead. Sigh.

These bikes will leave you stranded. Dont count on them. Literally the worst

This app is genuinely trash. It’s like the people who created it think that the average user is low iq. If you have rules like maintaining a certain amount in your chequing account or suspending an account because of failed payments, wouldn’t the best idea be to LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW, instead of repeating “we can’t process your request, try again” why hide notifications and render the app useless.
  • System makes no sense

Bikes were available and the docking system worked, but we wasted so much time trying to figure out how to rent more than 1 bike. Ended up creating another account because it didn’t let >1 bike per account
  • Utterly Broken Bike Share System – A Masterclass in Frustration

I honestly don’t understand how Toronto Bike Share manages to operate this poorly. Every time I actually want to ride, there are zero bikes at the popular stations — while other stations in places nobody rides are completely overflowing. Just today, I docked my bike, walked away for not even two minutes, came back, and of course… it was gone. No bikes left for me. There is absolutely no system in place to balance bike distribution — something that should be incredibly simple to manage. And there’s no button or option in the app to report “no bikes available” so they can send someone to fix it. My rating for this app is literally zero stars. The only reason it says 1 star is because that’s the lowest the app store lets me give.

Nothing wrong with app but u need to check it to see if docks or bikes are broken before using

Poor fleet management in the real world means you often can’t get a bike or a dock. This combined with frequent bugs and quirks in the software world = can’t recommend. Hard to get your money’s worth from the membership
  • password needed every time i get a bike

Doesn’t work for single purchase. Even if it did, the UI is a joke and designed poorly (seriously defaulting year at 2007 then saying it doesn’t support people under 18 before I have a chance to move?). The payment method then frustratingly says error every time with no support. Seems like they built offshore by someone who never used (and isn’t good at apps). Such a frustrating and poor experience
