  • new user interface is awful

Not sure why there was a change with the UI but the new one is awful. Can't see all the data I want and with the background picture of the dude it is much harder to even read the data that IS being displayed. Would NOT consider this an upgrade; should be called a step backwards.

  • Please bring back the old UI

New UI is horrible! Users want to see data, not stare at an image of some guy on a bike for hours on end. At least give us some options here.

Garbage. This app continually shuts down during every ride.
  • Where is average Watts

New format does not have an icon showing the average watt. I got used to seeing my average wattage on long rides. It motivated me to work harder if it dropped. Please consider adding this to the app. I know I can check it on the summary stats.
  • New in-ride UI is awful

Guys, what were you thinking rolling out this UI? The entire screen is wasted space looking at a picture of a dude riding? All the metrics I want to see are super small as a result. Please just add a toggle to revert to the old view or make the metrics take up the entire view and ditch the dude riding on his trainer. It’s barely usable and frustrates me for my entire ride. Gotta fix it asap.
  • New UI is very bad

Just did a workout with the updated UI to see some AI generated guy in a dark living room in front of bad art - what about this image is useful or helpful or motivating? The stats (the reason we use the app) are now itsy bitsy in the top corner in size 5 font. They've changed the alert bells for the workout so you can look at another window during the workout or you miss the next workout step. Ugh take me back to the previous version! How come we can't choose our own UI? Rearrange and enlarge the stats? Pick our own background image or color? Or perhaps the most shocking how come we can't do a planned workout on one of the video rides? Bad UI update, so disappointed, makes doing my workouts much harder to execute properly.
  • Latest User Interface for Power Training is a down grade

Latest app update 4.81.3 radically changed the interface for monitoring Power Training where fonts is now too small and most of the display is used by the background. Please give us back the previous display or let us customize it. On a home trainer there are only 4 important and relevant values: time, power, cadence and heart rate. Everything else is inferred.

The data is so small to read on an iPad because you have a giant picture of a guy doing a wheelie on a TACX bike
  • Like the app, UX suggestion

I like the app, but with the version 4.81.3 release the UX changed for Garmin Coach suggested workouts. While seeing the training and heart rate zones is a nice addition, all of the text sizes were reduced and 1/3 of the screen on the iPhone is occupied by the background image of someone riding a TACX trainer. That is space which could be used for adjusting the visual sizes and Placement. The text size can be increased to the next size on the iPhone, but then one has to scroll up and down to see the different visuals. They no longer fit on one screen. The background image adds no benefit to the UX and also may use up battery resources unnecessarily on a user’s device.
