They are trying to make all the games for a subscription
  • Every Update Makes It Worse

Wish you would leave well enough alone. Latest update does not even show month in single archive screen. And you keep un-downloading my archived puzzles. I ‘m addicted and so tolerate the changes but please quit making the user interface less friendly with every update.

This app requests me to rate every time I finish a puzzle and I’m sick of it
  • Frustrating to use on the subway

I mostly open this app on the subway but for years the experience when there is intermittent connectivity has been poor and unchanged. I don’t understand why I am able to watch videos on Instagram in between subway stops but this app struggles to get the five letters it needs for today’s Wordle. If you try to open a non-crossword game you’ll get a loading spinner when the connection is poor and have no way to go back (say to play the crosswords, which are the only ones that seem to be available offline). I constantly have to quit this app to try to get it to download Wordle or Connections. I wish it just let me pick which games I would like to have available offline every day.
  • App Keeps Asking For a Review

The app keeps prompting me for a review after every crossword I solve in the archive (and now even after the daily puzzles!), regardless of whether I’ve left a review in the past. If you want my review so badly, I’ll give it to you … one star solely because of this problem. Good day to you.

I’ve been waiting over 20 minutes to speak with customer service about not being able to log in. This has me ready to cancel my subscription and no longer use.
