    Surprisingly bad app for a bank that touts itself as a private bank. The app is very glitchy. Asks for “Contact preferences” at every start up. The login experience is cumbersome. The interface is not user friendly at all. Citi needs to invest in a better app ASAP.

    Login, application loading, and overall content load times are much faster, improving my experience. The landing page is clean and intuitive, making it easy to locate and navigate essential content.

    Have used this app more than five year and they continue to improve its stability and layout. Great for viewing assets held with private bank but not related to consumer banking or credit cards. I actually like that these are segregated versus having a bloated app experience like some other large banks offer. In past year auth has streamlined and it now provides rapid access to ones information.

    I’ve had the app for a few years. It’s buggy, and not nearly as intuitive as the apps from Chase, JPM or First Republic. And it doesn’t have Zelle or the ability to look at transactions more than a handful of months old. Also won’t stay linked with third party apps. Fine for seeing what your investments are doing I guess, but terrible for banking.

    This app is slow, clunky, and crashes constantly! How is this an acceptable app? My balances are inaccurate sometimes until I go into the transactions screen and back out. I sometimes can’t log in at all, saying I’ve timed out after half a second. I wish I could just not use this app at all but I can’t even access the web portal on mobile browsers.

    Extremely limited functionality. Unable to show all accounts. Often fails to boot up properly. I use the regular Citi app instead. Terrible

  • Unbelievably poor quality for a F50 company

    I literally cannot deposit checks and thus am forced to maintain a JP Morgan account just to handle my day to day cash needs. Otherwise, app is clunky and generally unwieldy and shockingly poor quality coming from a F50 bank.

    I was “upgraded” to the Privatebank and next thing I know everything is a downgraded experience. This app is terrible. They told me that it would integrate my business and personal accounts and it does not do that. I cannot even do mobile deposits without some sort of machine where I used to be able to simply use the camera on my phone just like other banking apps. When you present the problem to the people at the Private Bank, they have no idea how to address my banking experience. Absolutely dysfunctional.
