Please mark the article which need pay to view as Apple did so don’t get to the news and could not back out to main menu.

It should be called gaslighting news. I have to go to actual trustworthy news websites, ABC or NBC or BBC even Al Jazeera is more reliable than gaslighting news. What do you expect from a company that decided to rename THE GULF OF MEXICO.
  • Crashes and Advertisements for All

Pop ups galore, crashes constantly auto scroll when you’re reading to move the advertisement up top. Close a pop up and it comes back 5 seconds later. Close the pop up 5 times, then the article crashes and you get oops something went wrong. Apple News never crashes. This crashes nearly 70% of all the articles I read.
  • App is not better than website

The Google News app is nowhere near as good as just using the website in a browser. The settings don’t properly control autoplay videos, and the app constantly hangs while scrolling — then suddenly a video blasts on screen. Even worse, most story links don’t return back to the app correctly, so you end up having to completely close the app just to get back to the home page. Frustrating experience overall and I would not recommend using the app.
  • Not a good app

Most news articles require a subscription to read them. This is a mostly worthless app. I tried it and deleted it soon thereafter.
  • Cluttered with ads

I get that ads are necessary, but I’m tired of seeing the majority of my articles fill with so many ads that it heats up my phone and crashes the app 20% of the time. 15 Pro Max.
  • CONSTANT error message with ‘ice cream’ image

I cannot read more than a paragraph of any article before the screen goes to the ‘ice cream’ error message stating that the content cannot be displayed. It’s infuriating and every single time I use the app.
  • Most articles are behind a pay wall

I like the concept of having a news aggregator that somewhat neutral. However, it’s so frustrating that over 80% of the articles that I click on go to a site that has a paywall and you can’t read the article. For providers, especially ones like Google, do they really need this as their way to make money by getting commissions off of leads to these pay sites? It seems a little juvenile And it’s what made me and I’m sure others delete the app.
  • Not what it used to be

No dark or text size adjustment means getting blasted when reading at night. Lots of ads and paywalls. Government announcements (political propaganda) presented as legitimate news.
  • Ads Everywhere!

It's basically 90% ads and 10% news articles now. Can't even read an article anymore because of the high amount of ads. Ridiculous! 👎
