  • Bug breaks notifications. Also, system too slow

On my phone, it has never prompted for notifications, so I always have to be told about the requests by text or in person, and open the app myself. My wife’s phone did prompt for notifications and they work. And yes I’m sure because this app doesn’t even show up in the Settings->Notifications for me to enable notifications. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Also it takes close to 1-2 minutes for the computer to unlock when I grant time. This is too slow.
  • Broken

I can’t add my spouse to the family group. It won’t send the invite email and login is broken. I also can’t even reach the family safety website with my own login on the web. Everything is broken. Luckily I can still at least manage my kids’ devices. But can’t imagine it’s working for anybody trying to set it up today.
  • Stopped working

This worked well for a while and then randomly, out of nowhere it is no longer reporting any usage from one of my sons. We’ve done every single troubleshooting we can find online and we have read that others have had the same problem. I know he’s been on his computer for several hours, and this app will say his computer hasn’t been used at all, zero minutes.
  • Great concept, but flawed

Like the reporting information and control this gives me over my daughter’s online access, but the tool can be glitchy and slow, particularly with regard to her requests to access specific websites. Also, there are multiple work-around to bypass the parental controls (using different web browsers, setting up dummy accounts, etc.) that she figured out and I had to counter. Works okay, but not perfectly.
  • Need finer controls

The updates after a request is approved are significantly delayed. I often have to manually approve from the computer.
  • Horrendous to sign in

Worst experience trying to sign it and getting to work just to tell me try a different account even though mine was perfectly fine
