OneDrive for MacOS works most of the time, but you will need to get very good at re-installing and resetting OneDrive to try to get it to start working again. NEVER trust that your files are actually on your computer. The icons in the Finder can not be trusted to accurately show if the file actually exists on your computer DO NOT TRUST THIS APP!

The most recent upgrade now fails with “There’s a problem with the application. Please download and try again.” Re-downloading does help
  • After update, it doesnt open and crashes

After update it doesnt open and crashes. I deleted it and installed again, nothing solved.
  • Won’t Run After Latest Update

Following the App Store updating OneDrive (to Version 26.078.0426), it now no longer runs. “OneDrive can’t start” error after the update. Removing the app and reinstalling does not resolve the issue. Reverting to the previously-installed version seems the only solution. So, an already marginal app (typical Microsoft) is now a totally useless app.

I get a message that says OneDrive can’t be opened and then just prompts me to download again. This is the App Store, not some .pkg or .dmg file we downloaded. The App Store. If the app doesn’t work, App Store Review has failed.

Just updated to version 26.078.0426. OneDrive won’t start because there is a problem with application files.
